A Silence Ended

Standard

I’ve been unusually silent these past few weeks, so I have quite a bit to talk about.

First, I’d like to explain why I haven’t been writing. After that, I’ll tell you what I’ve had boiling in the back of my mind, and let you in on a few secrets I’ve been keeping (and I don’t mean the gummy bears I keep hidden in my desk drawer). Continue reading

The Rejection Obstacle

Standard

I did something naughty recently.

Remember how I said there were only eleven books after The Sovereign Flame and The Grimm Kin? Well, my muse and I went a little crazy (nothing new there). See, I was working on the finer details of my outlines for the next few books, and more and more ideas kept coming.

Long story short: I’ve added to the list.  Continue reading

Timelines & Titles

Standard

I didn’t do a post last Monday because I was taking a short break from writing to catch up on some commission artwork that had been piling up. While I still have quite a bit of work still to do, today’s blog post is special.

But what better day to share than this? For it is the Winter Solstice; the longest night of the year. Not only does today mark the official start of winter, it is also the Pagan and Wiccan holiday of Yule. Continue reading

The Bone Prophet – Revealed!

Standard

Oops! I went and changed my mind again.

I decided that the original cover was too bland despite all the pretty colors. So I changed it over to black and white. This seems more dramatic to me because of the good vs evil theme throughout the book. And, instead of being just a narrow slit of an image framed in black, I expanded the image to take up most of the cover. And then I changed the font. Continue reading

A Taste of Things to Come

Standard

You may have noticed a little drying up of snippets and updates of my writing over the last week. I apologize for that, but, after winning my fourth NaNoWriMo event, I took some time off to catch up on a project for charity. Now that that’s complete, it’s right back to work on The Bone Prophet.

Speaking of the fourth book, you may have also caught a glimpse of the cover when I released the teaser on my YouTube Chanel. Continue reading
