I’ve been thinking about this one since March 1st.
See, before my– let’s call it– crash, I was working on a revision of the first book of the AEON series. This was in response to the possibility of getting a literary agent to represent me (aka, my dream come true).
The agent actually took the time to write up extensive feedback (and I seriously can’t thank her enough for that). If you’re new to the whole publishing game, that’s a rather rare thing to recieve as many agents are so busy that they just don’t have the time to write out a two-page email.Continue reading
Remember how I said there were only eleven books after The Sovereign Flame and The Grimm Kin? Well, my muse and I went a little crazy (nothing new there). See, I was working on the finer details of my outlines for the next few books, and more and more ideas kept coming.
I didn’t do a post last Monday because I was taking a short break from writing to catch up on some commission artwork that had been piling up. While I still have quite a bit of work still to do, today’s blog post is special.

But what better day to share than this? For it is the Winter Solstice; the longest night of the year. Not only does today mark the official start of winter, it is also the Pagan and Wiccan holiday of Yule.Continue reading
I decided that the original cover was too bland despite all the pretty colors. So I changed it over to black and white. This seems more dramatic to me because of the good vs evil theme throughout the book. And, instead of being just a narrow slit of an image framed in black, I expanded the image to take up most of the cover. And then I changed the font.Continue reading
You may have noticed a little drying up of snippets and updates of my writing over the last week. I apologize for that, but, after winning my fourth NaNoWriMo event, I took some time off to catch up on a project for charity. Now that that’s complete, it’s right back to work on The Bone Prophet.
